Job Introduction

We are recruiting to an exciting new role within Warmer Homes London, a new joint endeavour of the GLA and London Councils to accelerate the pace and scale of quality retrofit across the capital.

The Retrofit Data and Insight Manager will play a key role in a multidisciplinary team focussed on synergising retrofit data at unprecedented scale from London’s Social Housing Fund Strategic Partnership of 27 of London’s Boroughs and Housing Associations.

You will be the lead for all aspects of data collation, management, and innovation, going beyond minimum grant funding reporting requirements to enable the Partnership to achieve its strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be well versed in a range of data analysis and visualisation tools, will be a skilled problem-solver, and an adept project manager with excellent stakeholder management and communications skills.

Please note that anyone using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot to answer sift questions may be marked down if they do not also include original content that demonstrates their aptitude, experience and skills. Using these tools also runs the risk of plagiarism.

Main Responsibilities

1)  Be the primary person responsible for identifying and prioritising the data and insight needs of Warmer Homes London, including development of a comprehensive retrofit data insight strategy to support the delivery of London's SHF Strategic Partnership.

2) Utilise housing asset and retrofit data from a range of sources to respond to user and stakeholder requirements, and to generate insights, data products, dashboards, reporting templates and toolkits, as well as other in-depth analyses, to support and enable pan-London retrofit outcomes.

3) Contribute to and develop tools for a variety of internal, external, and multi-partner reporting needs, focussing on clear communication, problem solving, data quality, and consistency.

4) Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and place data (and the insights derived from it) at the heart of the scale up of the retrofit sector in the capital.

5) Stay up to date with best practice, innovative approaches, and emerging data technologies to bring to bear benefits to the team and its remit.

3) Articulate both in person and in writing

4) An experienced project and/or programme manager with proven leadership characteristics

5) Experience working with residential energy data and/or social housing data

6) Educated to degree level, or with equivalent practical experience
